FAQ - Why do Multicell not offer a warranty on Golf Trolley Batteries?

The batteries supplied are VRLA and when not used for this application carry a 1 year guarantee. End users tend to unintentionally mis-treat the batteries creating a difficult warranty claim procedure.

All VRLA batteries should not be left in a discharged state as this causes irreversible damage to the cells within the battery. In our experience, a number of golfers tend to use their battery for a round of golf, forget to recharge it after their game and only think to recharge it the night before they play golf, thus leaving the battery in a none charged state for possibly weeks on end. Then when the battery fails to perform in accordance with their expectations it is returned to us as faulty. We then have the difficult task of trying to convince the golfer it is not a manufacturing problem but a mis-treatment of the battery. Therefore Multicell offers no warranty on products supplied for this application and our prices reflect this.

Providing the batteries are stored in a charged state they should perform in line with your requirements!
